Yesterday started off several Christmas events in Panora, with the Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Business Open Houses, and there are more festivities happening next week.

There will be a free community meal at Faith Bible Church on Wednesday from 5:30-6:30pm, with the meal consisting of soups, salads and cinnamon rolls. Chamber Coordinator Erica Matthies says that the Chamber’s event, Santa’s Breakfast and Workshop at the Panora Community Center, was supposed to be today, but it has been postponed to next Saturday, December 21st for safety reasons with the inclement weather. She mentions that the free will donation pancake breakfast will be from 8:30-11am, with Santa’s Workshop taking place from 9-10:30am with a candy cane craft and virtual story path now scheduled for next Saturday.
