A new business in the City of Perry was introduced on Monday with a ceremonial event.

The Perry Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at Sips on 2nd to celebrate the newest addition to the community. The organization will offer residents healthy delicious drinks of smoothies, teas, protein shakes, and more. Co-owner Kenny McChurch indicated that he drove through Perry a couple of times and thought that the community would benefit by having a business that serves healthier options. 

His wife, Kassie, who is the other owner, expressed her excitement to be in Perry and said that people have been very welcoming. Sips on 2nd will be open Tuesdays through Fridays 6:30am to 2pm and on Saturdays from 8am to 2pm.
