The City of Minburn will be holding a special holiday experience for families today.

The public is invited to attend Minburn’s Celebrating Christmas Cheer event, featuring a full day of activities. Minburn Library Director Abigail Embree tells Raccoon Valley Radio that kids can stop by the Jingle Bell Store from 10am-noon to select and wrap gifts for family members to give for the holidays this year. She adds that the festivities will continue on into the evening at 5pm with the lighting of a Nativity Scene along with carol singing at Meek Park. 

The night will end with a free-will soup supper at the Minburn Methodist Church from 5:30-7:30pm as children will get to meet Santa and get a free balloon creation. Embree notes that all donations will benefit the Minburn Public Library.
