The City of Casey is under a boil advisory beginning today for a planned project.
Casey Public Works Director Jon Welker says that crews are shutting off the town’s water supply as they install a shutoff valve on the west side of town. He explains that while the boil advisory is in place, residents are to boil any water that is going to be used for consumption before using it to drink. Welker mentions that once the appropriate water tests show that the district’s water is safe for consumption, they will notify the public that the boil advisory is lifted. For more information on the water shutoff or the boil advisory, Welker welcomes any questions. He can be contacted by phone at 515-975-2435.
