Greene County’s varsity basketball teams will be home for a non-conference girl/boy doubleheader with Ogden on Monday, Dec. 2. After that, December has just two more home dates. The good news is that both the Dec. 13 games vs. PCM (Monroe) and the Dec. 20 contests vs. Roland-Story (Story City) are on Friday nights, which typically draw lareger crowds than other days of the week.

The Rams are 0-1 in girls’ basketball after a 65-17 home loss to non-conference opponent Woodward-Granger on Tuesday. The Ogden girls are 0-1 after going 5-17 a season ago. Both boys’ teams for Ogden and Greene County will be playing their first games of the season on Monday. The Bulldogs went 9-13 and the Rams were 2-20 in 2023-24. Monday’s doubleheader will be broadcast on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com with coverege at 5:45 p..m., the girls playing at 6 o’clock, and the boys to follow.
