A player from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn’s Girls Basketball team discusses how she’s wanting to talk with her teammates on the floor to strengthen their communication.

Senior Kelli Storck led the Tigers last year in scoring with 231 points and tells Raccoon Valley Radio that she’s bringing a smart approach to the team this year by looking for her teammates when she feels the double team pressure on her. Offensively, she is developing confidence to be able to trust her footwork and finish plays when they are there. Storck mentions she is working on becoming a vocal leader, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

“I think that’s something we’re working on this year is being, talking a lot more down there. Not just like on defense, but on offense too. It’s just all around, communication can help us be really successful this year.”

Through three games so far this season, Storck has scored 41 points combined. ADM is 2-1 on the 2024-25 season with wins over Des Moines Christian and Van Meter and a loss to Norwalk. The Tigers will be off until Tuesday, when they host Dallas Center-Grimes at ADM High School in Adel at 6pm.
