Competitions haven’t even began in boys wrestling for this season, yet District sites were just released by the IHSAA. Perry knows they will have to travel to Humboldt on February 15 as they battle to qualify for the State Meet at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

The Bluejays will be joined in Humboldt by Eagle Grove, Gilbert, Greene County, Humboldt, North Polk, Southeast Valley, and West Marshall. These 8 schools will compete in a bracket style tournament with the 1st and 2nd place wrestlers in each weight class qualifying for the State Tournament.

Perry returns no one who qualified for State last season. The Bluejays open the season on Saturday,  December 7 in Harlan.
