Ramo Covic, Urbandale, was driving a construction truck in the 25000 block of 360th St when a vehicle pulling a trailer, driven by Christopher Scanlan, Adel, attempted to pass him.  When he merged back, the trailer Mr. Scanlan was pulling hit the construction truck.  No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Covic’s truck was estimated at $1500.  There was no reported damage to Mr. Scanlan’s vehicle.  Mr. Scanlan was cited for Passing On Wrong Side.

Nov. 25th

Richmond Wright, age 24, 2462 NW 152nd St, Clive, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled or Revoked.

Nathan Benedict, age 33, 300 Adams St, Jamaica, was arrested on a warrant for Violation Of Probation Terms.

Timothy Henderson, Des Moines, was driving a dump truck in the 29000 block of 160th St, when he got too close to the shoulder and the truck slide into the ditch.  Mr. Henderson was checked on the scene by EMS and released without transport.  Damage to the truck was estimated at $10000.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
