Perry basketball will take the floor tonight for the first time on Dan Marburger Court. The Jayettes welcome the Huskies from Des Moines Hoover to town. Coach Klein begins his second season in charge of Perry. His squad knocked off Hoover 47-43 in the opener last season on their way to a 4-18 season. In the win last season, Karagyn Whelchel had 20 points. Now a junior, Karagyn is poised for a larger role. The Jayettes will also rely more on sophomore Lily Myers, who scored 10 points and grabbed 9 boards, against Des Moines Hoover last year. Perry has seen significant success against Hoover by winning the last 7 matchups. KDLS will have the broadcast tonight starting at 6:45P with tipoff to follow at 7P.
