Tonight, three Greene County High School students will perform in the Iowa High School Music Association All-State Choir.

Seniors Hailey Carman and Daniele Madsen, along with junior Carter Petterson are all first-time qualifiers for All-State. Having auditioned before, Carman talks about what it means for her to be a part of the All-State Music Festival as a high school senior.

“It’s just a good feeling knowing that all my hard work over the past couple of years and doing something that I love, like it shows. It’s also very exciting because there’s a plaque over by the choir room and we get our names on it, so kind of get to leave my mark.” 

All three students are at Hilton Coliseum at Iowa State University in Ames with the concert to start at 7:30pm tonight.
