It was a historical year for Perry swimming. The Jayettes broke 5 records this past season. Quin Mahler-Moreno broke records in the Women 200 IM 2:12.02, Women 100 Breaststroke 1:04.55, Women 500 Free 5:04.04. Aleah Karolus set new marks in the Women 50 Free 24.53 and Women 100 Free 54.0. It was a remarkable year that saw 5 of the 11 school records be broken said swimming coach Jean Dowd. She was also impressed with all the personal best times. “But what I find the most interesting is Aleah’s record of having 10 personal best swims throughout the season.”
