Nathan Behne, the 2024 Greene County High School graduate, just completed his first season as a college football kicker at Upper Iowa University in Fayette, and what a season it was. The Peacocks compete in NCAA Division II and went 7-4 in 2024.

Behne was 22 of 23 kicking extra points, six of six on field goal attempts with a long of 41 yards, and it wasn’t unusual for his kickoffs to reach the end zone.

Greene County head coach Caden Duncan talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about his former two-time All-State kicker who clearly has made the adjustment to the college game. “Nathan has worked very hard to be the kicker he is. He’s extremely intelligent and the time and effort he’s put in over the years is paying off.”
