Although the cross country season has come to a close, coach Thompson and his Panther cross country teams held their annual athletic banquet on Sunday night. Coach Thompson, alongside assistant coach Heather Osbahr praised their Panther girls for exceeding their placement as a #14 ranked overall team, placing 9th as a team at the state meet.

Coach Thompson expressed that his Panther girls are still feeling motivated to run although the season has now come to an end. “of the seven girls that ran at the state meet only one is involved in a winter sport so the other six have already asked about inside they’ve already went and done a fun run at living history farms just a couple weeks after the state meet.”

Still feeling proud of their placement at the state meet, the Panther cross country girls continue to show passion and heart throughout the offseason on their own.
