Two Mustangs named on 2024 District 6 Class 4A All District Football 1st Team

Now that playoff football is on the horizon, the 2024 District 6 Class 4A All District Football Teams have been released, with two Mustangs been placed on the 1st Team All District Football Team.

On the offensive side, sophomore Wyatt Valenta represents the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs one of the Offensive At-Large athletes. Valenta ended this season with 47 receptions good for 460 total yards averaging 9.8 yards per catch with four touchdowns.

For the defensive side of the 1st Team All District Team for Class 4A, junior linebacker Connor Stolpe rightfully claimed his place. Playing with a broken hand throughout the season, Stolpe still racked up 84.5 total tackles, 67 total solo tackles, with 7 total tackles for a loss. Stolpe also had 1 fumble recovery, and would also trust in his legs, punting the ball 18 times for 605 yards averaging 33.6 yards per punt.
