Law enforcement responded to a crash involving two vehicles on the outskirts of the City of Perry on Saturday.
According to Perry Police Officer Alex Lott, a collision occurred around 1:30pm at the intersection of Highway 141 and 1st Avenue near McDonalds in Perry. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio that a 2016 White Silverado, driven by a female, was driving westbound when a 2024 White Nissan Frontier, driven by a male, was heading northbound when the male believed his light was green and crashed into the Silverado.
Lott said that neither the male or female were injured but that a passenger in the Silverado might’ve suffered a minor injury. He stated that the Silverado had functional damage while the Frontier had disabling damage. Lott adds that the male and female were not arrested or issued citations. The Perry Police Department, Perry Fire Department Woodward Police Department, and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
