The accomplishments continue to pile up for the Dallas Center Grimes-Mustangs Dance team as Katie Howard placed first place at the Miss Dance Team Iowa competition for the 10th grade division.

Howard, the sophomore, alongside senior Jordyn Green, qualified for the State Solo Dance Competition which begins on December 5th at the Wells Fargo Arena. While continuing to compete to keep the Mustangs in shape for State, Katie Howard found success yet again as her routine earned her first place for the 10th grade division.

With the state competition just three weeks away, Katie Howard and Jordyn Greene compete today at Berg Middle School in Newton.
