Our series on the five first team Class 2A District 8 football players from Greene County High School centers today on senior two-way lineman Kamden Kinne. A four-year varsity player, Kinne was selected as a first team defensive lineman, and also was a stalwart up front for the Rams on offense.
During the 10 game season, which the Rams went 5-5 and advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2A playoffs, Kinne registered 47.5 tackles. He had 18 solo tackles, four quarterback sacks, and five tackles for loss. The entire Greene County team was credited with just six sacks and 14 TFL. During the late season three game winning streak in weeks seven, eight, and nine, Kinne was especially productive as a defensive tackle, making numerous big plays. A voracious weight lifter, among his attributes on the football field was tremendous physical strength.
