Memorial services for John Plymesser, 76, of Waukee, formerly of Adel, will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 22, 2024 at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home, Adel Chapel with family greeting friends one hour prior beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery beginning at 12:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Quilts of Valor Winterset Chapter, and/or Parkinson’s Research. John is survived by his wife, Jean; brother, Gale (Virginia) Plymesser; sisters, Connie Glenn, Nancy Stringer, LuAnn Plymesser, Mary Irwin, and Stella Fister; along with many nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family.
