The Guthrie Center City Council met in regular session Tuesday night due to Veterans Day being on Monday.
The Council set a public hearing for the approval of a development agreement with Main Street Guthrie Center Corporation for the next City Council meeting, then approved a quote to replace a light beacon on the top of the Guthrie Center Water Tower. They then heard a report from Public Works Superintendent Darnin Sloss, in which he mentioned that the pool had been winterized, some trees had been cleared along North 7th Street and that the emergency siren had been repaired. The Council also heard a report from City Clerk Kris Arrasmith, in which she shared that the digital sign on the front of City Hall had been repaired.
