The AC/GC Chargers football and volleyball teams had athletes recognized recently, and shared the news with friends, family and fans.

For the volleyball team, Stella Largent and Shay Lemke were named to the All-Conference First Team, while Camdyn Richter was named to the All-Conference Second Team. Addison Laughery and Becca Littler were recognized as All-Conference Honorable Mentions.

For the football team, Jathan South was named the Class A District 7 MVP, and Xander Harwood was named the Class A District 7 Defensive MVP, with Joe Crawford and Mike Fuller being named to the District 1st Team as running backs. Also named to the first team was Jack Sheeder on the offensive line, Oliver Wetzel as the kicker, Carter Richter on the defensive line, and Ben Franzeen and Brexton Schneider as linebackers.

Payton Policky made it onto the Class A District 7 Second Team at the wide receiver-tight end position, along with Mason Wahl and Brennan Tunink on the offensive line, with Eli Madsen in the offensive utility position. Also on the 2nd Team were Jackson Pfrang on the defensive line, Taytum Bates as a linebacker and Tommy Skram as a defensive back. Jonathan Martinez received recognition as a Class A District 7 Honorable Mention.
