Perry football just wrapped up a 2-7 campaign.  The Bluejays fell in all 5 of their District games.  They belonged to District 6 in 3A.  They shared a District with Nevada, Harlan, Atlantic, Creston and Knoxville.  Despite being winless the Bluejays placed 10 athletes across the three teams.  Alec Burgin was the only first team member.  The senior made it as a Defensive At Large.  He played mostly in the secondary for Perry.  5 Bluejays earned Second Team recognition.  Geren Kenney was the lone Perry player to make it as Offensive At Large.  The Bluejay defense had 4 on Second Team.  Linebackers Jorge Ramirez and Eric Lagos made it as well as Ricky Muro and Carlos Medina.  The latter two played defensive line for Perry.  The Bluejays had 4 place Honorable Mention.  The two on offense were Zachary Shelley, OL, and Nadir Ouahbi, RB.  The two on defense were Aiden Burgin, DB, and Geremi Alfaro, DL.  10 players across the two teams was the fewest in the District.
