Nov. 8th

Hugo Juarez Mata, Perry, was driving north on T Ave when he struck a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $5000.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Nov. 11th

River Wendland, age 20, 538 N. Park Ave, Centerville, was arrested for Operating while Under The Influence.  He was also cited for Improper Brake Light, Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked, Person Under 21 Using Tobacco Product and Operating Non-Registered Vehicle.

A minor was traveling on N Ave at 330th Street, when the driver ran into the back of a vehicle driven by Taylor Vandiver, Waukee.  This collision cause Ms. Vandiver to run into the back of a vehicle driven by Bayron Carmenate Arellano, Des Moines, who was stopped to make a turn.  One occupant of Ms. Vandiver’s vehicle was checked by EMS on the scene and cleared.  No other injuries were reported.  Damage to Mr. Arellano’s car was estimated at $2000.  Damage to Ms. Vandiver’s car was estimated at $28100 and damage to the minor’s vehicle was estimated at $34500.  The minor was cited for Failure To Stop in Assured Clear Distance.

Nov. 12th

Dominique Nordheim, age 39, 21111 Barry Dr., Adel, was arrested on a warrant for Sex Offender Registration Violation.

Gemini Smith, age 20, 8330 Harbach Blvd, Clive, was arrested for Robbery 2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief 5th Degree, Theft – 5th Degree and Assault While Participating In A Felony.

Elnour Manawar, Des Moines, was driving in the 29000 block of  Hwy 141, when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $8000.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Nov. 13th

Cassandra Mrozek, Guthrie Center, was in the 1700 block of J Ave when she hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $10000.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation, the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
