Jayette basketball will begin their season in less than two weeks.  Coach Klein returns for his second season in charge of girls basketball in Perry.  His squad will open the year on Monday, November 25 against Des Moines Hoover.  The schedule will include 5 home contest to begin the year and 13 overall.  The first road test will be against last year’s HOIC Champ, Roland Story, on December 13.  The Jayettes play a 16 game conference schedule with home and home with the entire Heart of Iowa Conference.  The conference does welcome a newcomer, Grand View Christian, that Perry will see for the first time on January 10.  A large chunk of the season will feature girl/boy doubleheaders and KDLS will have the radio broadcast for most of the season.  Full schedule below:
