Some new/updated information was recently shared at an open house at Mary J Barnett Memorial Library in Guthrie Center relating to a proposed underground pipeline project.
Summit Carbon Solutions held a safety open house from 5-7pm Wednesday night, with several attendees coming and going throughout that time. Some of the information that was shared regarded pipeline safety, going over their different prevention barriers that would be in place. One of the goals of the event was to try and help raise public awareness on what Summit was doing to keep those individuals who would live around the pipeline safe.
Other information provided covered how the pipeline would drive economic growth in the county, with an estimated $2,174,000 that Summit would pay in property taxes due to the pipeline. Additional information from the open house can be found below.
