With their season open, there were several athletes on the AC/GC Chargers cross country teams that received honors.

Head Coach Rick Blake says that Ava Campbell was named to the All Conference 1st Team and All State 2nd Team, while Gavin Sloss and Preston Kent made All Conference 2nd Team. Blake adds that Kent Sloss and Campbell were also All District 1st Team members, with Tate Fever, Cadence Peterson and Jayla Hoover making the All District 2nd Team.

Blake mentions that the season was a great one for the kids, with many working extremely hard since last May to get to the point they did by the end of the season, especially with many finishing with a personal record or season best at the state meet. He explains he’s especially proud of the seniors because they have been part of the program their entire high school careers, giving a lot of their time and effort to the teams, and helping to achieve a lot of success in that time.
