The Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs boys cross country team found great success at the Class 4A State Cross Country Meet last weekend. The Mustangs battled hard, and as a team found themselves on the deck or the top 15, placing fourth place with a team score of 167 points.

Senior Elias Arbuckle would lead the pack for the Mustangs, placing 23rd with a time of 15:59.9 seconds. Sophomore Graham Ibeling would finish next for the Mustangs with a time of 16:11.2 claiming 33rd place. Sam Mora the senior would not be far behind, claiming 40th place with a time of 16:17.9.

As a team, the Mustangs would battle and keep their pace enough to claim a top five finish as a team at the state cross country meet claiming 4th place with a team score of 167 points.
