Girls wrestling practice began this week for Perry.  The Jayettes return their top five wrestlers from last season.  TJ Maylum is thrilled with the talent in the Perry wrestling room and excited for the start of practice.  “The beauty of this year is all of these girls are experienced now so there’s going to be some that are coming in and need to have some you know one-on-one but the way it looks is we might be able to run two practices in one.  We got these girls that are going to come in with no rust on them because it’s so hard in the off season and they’re going to be ready to just roll.”  The Jayettes have  just over two weeks to prepare for their first meet.  The first competition will be a quad meet hosted by Waukee Northwest on November 21.
