Jefferson Matters will be on hand tomorrow to welcome a new business to the community.
Jefferson Matters Executive Director Matt Wetrich says another Java and Juice will take place at 9:30am at Root of Beauty Skin Company, which is located on North Wilson Avenue, just south of Jefferson Family Chiropractic. Then, following the 30 minute Java and Juice program, Wetrich mentions that there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10am to celebrate the new business and owner Maddie Van Pelt.
“She’s just starting but already has a great clientele built up (and) there’s room for more if you’re interested of course. But come out and learn all about Maddie! And we’ll also have a check presentation because she also just applied, went through the interview process and was awarded a Jefferson Wants You New Business Incentive grant.”
Van Pelt is a licensed esthetician and permanent makeup artist who offers services such as skincare, facials, body and facial waxing, lash and brow services, bridal makeup and microblading, among other services. She is a Grand Junction native and a Greene County High School graduate with an esthetics degree from Iowa School of Beauty in Urbandale. Tomorrow’s events are free and open to the public.
