The 22-18 Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs volleyball team strive to take home the regional championship for Class 4A Region 4 as they travel to Clear Creek Amana High School to take on the 36-7 Clippers. Although the Clippers have the better record when it comes to wins and losses, the Mustangs have the statistical advantage, however, the Clippers and Mustangs have the same amount of kills per set and kill attempts per set.
To make it to the regional championship, the Mustangs first hosted the Gilbert Tigers and defeated the Tigers 3-1 to advance to the semifinals. The Mustangs would go down to the wire but would defeat the Ballard Bombers 3-2 to advance to the Regional Championship. Clear Creek Amana got a bye in first week, then defeated Mount Pleasant 3-0 to advance to the Championship to take on Dallas Center-Grimes.
