Emotions were high as the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs football seniors shook hands with their opponents for the final time after a football contest. After Friday night’s loss against the #5 Lewis Central Titans, seniors: Alec Isenhart, Tate Perrin, Josiah Cox, Andrew Senne, Trevone King, Landon Morton, Kolby Carpenter, Karsten Freund, Charles Shafer, Lincoln Harris, Sam Harbaugh, Nicolas Reha, Clark Johnson, Issac Hoakison, Landon Russel, Allen Huinker, Jackson Studer, Ryan Pertzsch, Joe Johnson and Jordan Kalk, lined up at midfield on the Mustang logo, while the remainder of the Mustang team formed a tunnel for their seniors to walk through. The coaching staff alongside head coach Scott Heitland would share some words with every senior, before sending them through the tunnel of their fellow teammates. This closes the chapter of Mustangs football for these 22 seniors. Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs football comes to a close with a 2-7 record.
