Junior Elise Coghlan, on Adel-DeSoto-Minburn’s Volleyball team, achieved a great feat in the team’s regional semi-final victory.

The Tigers hosted the Winterset Huskies in Adel Thursday evening for the Class 4A Region 7 Semi-Final game, where they won in three sets (25-19, 25-23, 25-19). Coming into the game, Coghlan was sitting at 495 assists on the season, and reached the 500 mark in the win. ADM improves their record to 19-7 overall and is gearing up to travel to Glenwood High School on Tuesday to battle the 35-6 Rams in the regional championship. The winner will claim their ticket to the State Tournament, beginning next Monday, November 4th.
