The AC/GC Chargers volleyball team begins their postseason push tonight.

The Chargers host the Pleasantville Trojans, who they’ve already defeated twice this season. The first match went to AC/GC 3-2, while the second match came in conference tournament play and was taken by the Chargers 2-0.

Chargers senior setter Shay Lemke is the assists and serve aces leader for the Chargers, with 603 total assists and an average of 7.8 per set, along with 0.8 serve aces per set. Sophomore outside hitter Stella Largent leads in kills with 5.5 per set. Junior libero Becca Littler leads the team in digs with 242 total and an average of 3.1 per set, while fellow junior middle hitter Savannah Akers leads in blocks with 30.

For the Trojans, junior Lillian Mason leads in assists with 306 and an average of 3.6 per set. Senior Faith Nelson leads in kills with 2.3 per set while fellow senior Hope DeMan leads in blocks with 58. Senior Emily Roe leads Pleasantville in digs and serve aces, with 321 total digs and an average of 3.7 per set, along with 0.5 serve aces per set.

The match begins at 7pm, and will be held at the AC/GC High School gymnasium.
