October is known as National Principal Appreciation Month and Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District Superintendent Greg Dufoe is grateful for all of the building principals within the district.

Dufoe admits that it’s hard to find the words to express how phenomenal the principals are at doing their jobs. He calls them excellent leaders and can’t imagine having a better group of individuals.

“They work so hard. They embody the characteristics of humble, hungry, and smart, which are three things that we aspire to be each day. I just really appreciate them, I know our (school) board does, (and) even more importantly, our teachers and students who come into contact with them every day are super appreciative too.”

Dufoe has been the ADM Superintendent for the last 17 years and says that he can’t envision himself working in another school district largely due to the incredible staff.
