The Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield is hosting the next event in their 2024-25 All-Iowa series next Saturday.

According to Warren Cultural Center Director Nancy Queck, Chris Patterson will be performing on the square, as he returns to his roots. She says he spent a great deal of time in Greenfield as a child, as both his parents graduated from Greenfield. Patterson has traveled the world as a singer and songwriter for nearly two decades, playing all over the US and Europe in places like The Bluebird Cafe and the Americana Music Festival. Queck notes that Patterson has been with Leaving, TX releasing three critically acclaimed albums.

Patterson will be joined by Joshua Rex who will be accompanying him on the fiddle during the show. Queck says the opening act will be Triple Elvis, an Indi/Alt rock group from Des Moines, with members that have played in The Sapwoods, Love Songs for Lonely Monsters, Superchad and Soothing Syrup among others. Tickets are available through the Warren Cultural Center’s website warrenculturalcenter.com or at the door, with adult tickets for $20, and students that are high school aged or younger being able to get in for free. Triple Elvis begins their performance at 7pm, with Patterson to start at 8pm.
