The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School Board met in regular session this past Monday.

The board approved a School Budget Review Committee request for allowable growth modified supplemental aid for Limited English Proficiency in the amount of $53,000. Other items that were approved included a renovation of the baseball infield for $61,259 with Iowa Sports Turf, supplemental pay to classified employees for the 2024-25 school year as presented, and general obligation bond series for 2024 as presented.

Additional items approved related to a resolution on the new high school for joint representation for annexing and developing as presented, and three concrete projects from Cooks Concrete at the District Administration Center in the amount of $47,580. The board also approved setting a public hearing for Monday, October 28th at 5pm for the sale of the district’s Minburn location.
