The Adair – Casey and Guthrie Center School Boards met in regular session Wednesday.

Superintendent Josh Rasmussen says that the Boards discussed district property/casualty insurance, and put out a request for proposal to local insurance agencies to see their coverage plans, then approved their representatives for the Iowa Association of School Boards delegate assembly on November 20th, with Brian Sheeder representing the GC Board and Justin Crawford representing the AC Board. The Boards also approved members of the District Leadership Team and the School Improvement Advisory Committee, along with the second reading of the 500 series Board policy review.

The AC Board then approved a bid for security cameras, as that was something that had been brought up as an area for improvement in their security plan, while the GC Board approved the School Budget Review Committee modified allowable growth for Limited English Proficiency. Both Boards then entered into a closed session for the superintendent’s evaluation.
