Perry swimming won’t have to travel far when postseason play begins on November 9th.  The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union assigned postseason assignments recently.  The Jayettes were assigned the Johnston Regional.  The meet will take place on Saturday, November 9th at Summit Middle School in Johnston.  Des Moines Lincoln,
Des Moines Roosevelt, Indianola, Johnston, Sioux City West, Southeast Polk, and Williamsburg were all also assigned to this site.  Girls swimming is a unique sport where all schools compete against each other regardless of the school’s enrollment.  The Jayettes have only seen Indianola of the schools they will share a pool with.  Perry still has one more regular season meet left at Carroll on Tuesday, October 29th.
