The Perry Chamber of Commerce is looking for new members to join their board for the next few years.

The chamber will be holding its Annual Member Meeting and Director Election on November 22nd at noon over Zoom. According to Executive Director Lynsi Pasutti five current chamber board members have expiring terms at the end of the year. The board members can be nominated to serve another term or new participants can be requested from chamber members by October 28th. Pasutti is optimistic for people to join the chamber for the next couple of years.

“We would love some new individuals on the board. The terms are three years, so it’s always a great chance to have that commitment, but you’re not in it for life. Things happen all the time, and so we have that every year, there’s some turnover either with terms coming up or life changes.”

Pasutti states that individuals will be notified if they are nominated, and then they will submit a board member application to accept the proposal by November 1st.
