The West Central Valley Wildcats volleyball team found more success at the West Central Activities Conference volleyball tournament as they defeated the Madrid Tigers 2-0. Held at the Des Moines Christian Performance Hall, the Wildcats would shut out the Tigers 2-0, resulting in a final performance of two wins and a loss on Monday during the WCAC tournament.

The Wildcat volleyball team now sits at 9-12 so far in the season and prepare for the Class 2A Region 8 volleyball action as West Central Valley dreams of heading state bound. The Wildcats will travel to Earlham High School on Monday night to take on the 15-16 Cardinals in the first round of regional volleyball action. Round 1 of Class 2A Region 8 action begins on Monday for the Wildcats at 7pm at Earlham High School.
