The last home volleyball match for the Greene County Rams in 2024 is tonight in the school school gym in Jefferson. Coach Chris Heisterkamp’s Rams are 11-3 on the season and 4-3 in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play going into tonight’s match with PCM (Monroe). The Rams and Mustangs both have 4-3 records with tonight’s winner finishing in fourth place while the losing team will be fifth among the nine HOIAC teams.

The Rams play in the Winterset Tournament on Saturday. Greene County mathematically could still have a winning season, but a win tonight and a good showing on Saturday appear to be crucial. The postseason begins on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at Des Moines Christian School in Urbandale vs. the host Lions at 7 p.m.
