The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Cross Country teams notched finishes inside the top five at the Raccoon River Conference Championship Meet on Tuesday.

The Tigers ran at the Lakeview Country Club in Winterset, where the girls tallied a four place finish, while the boys marked second. On the girls side for ADM, it was Freshman Elliotte Von Roden in sixth place overall with a time of 20:03 in the 5K. Sophomore Allie Eggleston raced to 15th place (20:58) while Senior Hannah Desmarais (21:20) was 17th and Sophomore Cora Shirley-Brown (21:33) finished in 20th. Tigers Sophomore Addy Bjork (21:52), plus Seniors Ella Goodrich (21:59) and Evelyn Horgen (22:04) captured spots 26 through 28.

The boys saw Senior Torin Timmerman take 10th place overall with a time of 17:05. Sophomore Max Marple (17:33), and Juniors Ty Landphair (17:35.28) and Robbie Hall (17:35.79) occupied places 16-18. Senior Shay Holdmeyer (17:38) eclipsed 20th place, and Senior Isaac Chapman (17:56) owned 26th place.

ADM is preparing to travel to the Harlan Golf and Country Club this coming Wednesday, starting at 4pm.
