The West Central Valley Wildcat volleyball teams participated in day one of the West Central Activities Conference volleyball tournament on Monday night and found themselves in a split decision. After traveling to Des Moines Christian High School on Monday, the Wildcats would find themselves in battle with the Ogden Bulldogs and Interstate 35 Roadrunners.

The Wildcats would battle hard but fall to the Ogden Bulldogs 2-1. Ogden would strike first, defeating the Wildcats by only two points in the first set 25-23. Fueled by the loss the Wildcats would have a dominant outing in the second set, defeating the Bulldogs 25-13. In the final set, the Wildcats would not be able to contain the Bulldogs falling 15-10.

The Wildcats would find great success against the Roadrunners, defeating I-35 in two sets, 25-19 in the first and 28-26 in the second and final set. It would go to the wire, but the Wildcats would claim a 2-0 victory over the Roadrunners.
