The Mary H Barnett Memorial Library is ready for one of their mouth watering events.

Director Jerri Hawkins mentions that tomorrow is their monthly meeting of the cookbook club. She tells Raccoon Valley Radio that they’ll be meeting for a potluck meal at 6:30pm.

“So this month, the recipe cookbook is ‘Good Lookin’ Cookin: A Year of Meals’ by Dolly Parton and Rachel Parton George. So that’s gonna be a really fun cookbook, and I hope everybody enjoys coming and enjoying some of Dolly Parton’s and Rachel Parton George’s recipes.”

Hawkins mentions that there are other fun events coming up as well, with the weekly Friday story hours and cribbage and bridge classes, along with the Li-Boo-ray Bash on Halloween as well. She adds that the library staff is looking forward to all the patrons being able to enjoy the fun they have in store.
