Marco Perla, who serves at the City of Perry’s Recreation Coordinator, reflects on having a dependable area for children and adults.

Perla works at the McCreary Community Building and tells Raccoon Valley Radio that he hears from the community about how appreciative they are for having a great facility. Perla notes that it’s wonderful for children to be able to go to a place that allows them to participate in activities, adding that it is also beneficial for adults.

“They have nights after work that they want to do events or activities, and these programs give them that chance to destress and instead of going to Des Moines, or the urban city, they’re here in Perry and that’s what I like to hear about from them.”
