The AC/GC Chargers finished third at the conference tournament.

Head Coach Barb South says that they won their match on the first day of play, taking down Pleasantville in two sets, taking the first 25-19 and the second 25-22. She adds that yesterday, on the second day of the tournament, they lost in two close sets to Van Meter, falling 25-17 in the first and 25-19 in the second, then took down Woodward-Granger in two, securing the third place finish. Van Meter then went on to fall to Des Moines Christian, and the top three teams in order from first to third are Des Moines Christian, Van Meter and AC/GC. South mentions that setting and serving were highlights for the team during the tournament.
