Tonight will be the final home meet for Perry swimming. The Jayettes will host Atlantic and Des Moines Hoover. Tonight will serve as Senior Night for Perry. Swimming coach, Jean Dowd, plans to switch up some of the events and allow the girls to try new races. “We are going to recognize Lydia Nelson and Quinn Mahler Moreno after the 50 free. It’s really been an honor and a privilege to coach both of these young ladies. We’re also trying some different events for some of the girls. For example, Aleah Karolus hasn’t swam the 500 free in a meet all season and the same with the 200 IM. She’s going to try those two. Charlee Cromwell is going to try the 500 for the first time in her High School career and Cali Hernandez is going to do the 50 freestyle. Elllie Hughes is doing the 100 freestyle. We’re shaking up the roster quite a bit.”
Perry will take the pool tonight at 6:30P at the McCreary Center against Atlantic and Des Moines Hoover.
