The City of Perry will be shutting down a street on Monday to allow for construction work to happen.

The city announces that a portion of Iowa Street to Highway 141 will not be accessible for a couple of days. The city kindly asks residents to obey construction areas by not removing or crashing into any barricades, but instead to drive around them. 

According to the City of Perry’s Marketing and Engagement Coordinator Chris Cohea, the construction is to regrade concrete in the area. Depending on weather conditions, the road should reopen on Wednesday. For more information, contact Perry City Hall at (515)-465-2481.
