Perry football will have to contend with one of the top rushers in the state tonight when Atlantic comes to town.  Dewey Field will host the Bluejays and Trojans for Senior Night.  Perry is currently in the midst of a three game losing streak and are sitting at  2-4.  Atlantic comes into the game 5-2 and has the top RB in 3A.  Tyson O’brien has been running wild for 1279 yards.  Coach Vannornam on the plan to slow down the back.  “We play with effort.  We play with heart and we gotta play physical and a little more physical tonight.”.

The Bluejays currently sit in last place in 3A District 6 with Knoxville at 0-2.  The Trojans are 1-1 in District play so far.  That puts them tied with Harlan in 3rd.  Creston and Nevada both sit a perfect 2-0 to begin District play.  The District schedule matches up Nevada vs Creston, Harlan vs Knoxville, and the game we will have on KDLS tonight Perry hosting Atlantic.  Join us tonight on the Raccoon Valley Radio Sports Network at 6:30P for the Perry Hy-Vee Pregame Show.
