During last weeks 17-12 victory over the Nodaway Valley Wolverines, the now 3-3 West Central Valley Wildcats had an exciting moment in the third quarter where senior kicker Alan Diaz would launch a 45 yard long field goal for the Wildcats to notch in a total of 10 points in the third quarter. When discussing Friday night’s action with West Central Valley head coach Jim Lindsay, Lindsay had nothing but praise to give towards Diaz and his rocket of a field goal. “Alan Diaz, to start the third quarter, hit a monster of a 45 yard field goal. It would have been good from about 50 it looked like when it cleared. Yeah that a pretty good high school kick especially for 1A football.”

The now 3-3 Wildcats look to keep this momentum in their favor from last week’s homecoming win, as they prepare to travel to Ogden on Friday to take on the 1-5 Ogden Bulldogs.
