The Perry City Council met in regular session on Monday.

The council approved a pay application to Van Wall Equipment to provide a carrier vehicle to remove snow in the amount of $336,085.17. Other items on the agenda that were approved during the meeting included pay application number 15 to Wenthold Excavating LLC for completion on phase one for the runway relocation project at the Perry Municipal Airport for $4,070.52, and pay applications 38 and 39 for the Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements for a total amount of $829,111.53 to Woodruff Construction.

Other items on the agenda that were approved pertained to a pay application going towards the Frog Creek Restoration project for phases three and four in the amount of $128,256.84 to Iowa Earth Works, a pay application for $174,918.16 to Sandstone Management LTD relating to the Iowa Street Stormwater Wetland installation, and a resolution for a work order amendment for extension phase two construction of runway 14/32 at the Perry Municipal Airport not to exceed $85,000 paid by the Federal Aviation Administration. Mayor Dirk Cavanaugh read a proclamation to observe October as National Community Planning Month.
